Description

The 2000 ml sterile urine bag is designed to ensure hygiene and safety in urine collection for catheterized patients. Indicated for short-term use, it provides a reliable and functional solution for urinary drainage management. The presence of an anti-reflux valve helps prevent urine backflow into the drainage tube, contributing to a reduced risk of infection and ensuring greater user comfort. The 90 cm flexible tube, transparent and durable, allows for easy positioning and practical handling during use. Made of medical-grade plastic, the bag is latex-free and phthalate-free (DEHP-free). Sterile Medical Device for single use, suitable for hospital, care facility, or home-care settings under medical or nursing supervision.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Check the integrity of the packaging before use. Do not use the device if the packaging is damaged, opened, or compromised.
Open the packaging under aseptic conditions and connect the terminal connector of the drainage tube to the patient’s urinary catheter connection, ensuring that the connection is stable and leak-proof. Check that the tube is free from kinks, bends, or twisting in order to ensure proper urine flow.
Position the bag below the level of the patient’s bladder to allow gravity drainage. If applicable, secure the bag to the bed or bed rail using the dedicated holes or fastening systems.
During use, monitor the filling level of the bag using the graduated scale. Do not exceed the maximum capacity indicated by the manufacturer (generally 2000 ml).
When the maximum capacity is reached, remove the bag with care, avoiding any liquid spillage, and proceed according to the established operating and disposal procedures.
