Derma Steel-Fine safety lancets are single-use, sterile fingerstick lancets with a fixed depth and stainless steel needle for capillary blood sampling. Equipped with a passive MDS safety mechanism (no activation required by the operator), therefore compliant with EU Directive 2010/32/EU. Sterilized by gamma radiation.
The device is designed to achieve the desired result with minimal risk, time, and contact with the operator, thanks to the following features:
- Pre-loaded mechanism, no additional steps required by the operator
- Removable seal/cap can be rotated in any direction
- No additional buttons to locate/high-speed mechanism
- Audible activation noise for verification
- Simply place the device on the desired site and with a single hand pressure from the operator, the mechanism is triggered. The device’s tip retracts, indicating its lock.
