Derma Steel-Fine Lancets are single-use, sterile safety devices with fixed depth, featuring a stainless steel needle for capillary blood sampling. They are equipped with a passive MDS safety mechanism that requires no activation by the operator, in compliance with EU Directive 2010/32/EU. Sterilization is achieved through irradiation.
The device is designed to deliver results with minimal risk, contact, and time for the operator. The mechanism is preloaded and requires no additional handling, with an easy-to-remove safety cap that can be twisted off. No need to search for extra buttons; the launch mechanism activates quickly, with an audible signal confirming activation. Simply place the device on the desired point, apply light hand pressure, and the mechanism triggers, while the terminal retracts automatically and locks into place.
