BERICAH FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
With ETIFOR, we support reforestation efforts.
Bericah S.p.A. has chosen to support a tangible reforestation project in collaboration with WOWnature, an initiative promoted by ETIFOR, a spin-off of the University of Padua.
The project involves planting more than 200 trees, including firs, beeches and larches, in Enego, within an FSC® – certified area that was severely affected by Storm Vaia in 2018, which caused extensive damage to the forests of the Asiago Plateau (Altopiano dei Sette Comuni).
WOWnature enables individuals, public bodies and companies to contribute to the growth of new forests and the protection of existing ones through responsible and verifiable forest management projects.
Bericah S.p.A.’s contribution goes beyond planting: dedicated support will be provided for the maintenance of the trees during their first three years of growth, together with documentation of the intervention and the activities carried out as part of the project.
Supporting this initiative means contributing to the restoration of an area of great environmental and historical significance for the Veneto region.
Through this commitment, Bericah S.p.A. reaffirms its support for tangible environmental protection initiatives, with particular attention to the local area and future generations.

IMPRENDIGREEN Award
Bericah S.p.A. has been awarded the Imprendigreen Award by Confcommercio, a recognition granted to companies that voluntarily adopt practices and initiatives aimed at improving resource management, enhancing process efficiency, promoting organizational responsibility, and evolving their business and organizational models through process optimization, waste reduction, and more efficient use of resources.
The recognition highlights companies that undertake initiatives in these areas, including more responsible use of resources, improved process efficiency, waste reduction, material reuse, and a stronger focus on the circular economy.
The Imprendigreen programme also considers initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
What is Imprendigreen?
Imprendigreen by Confcommercio is an initiative designed to raise awareness, provide training and support companies in their transition towards more sustainable business and organisational models.
The project forms part of a broader context in which companies, institutions and communities are being called upon to rethink production, distribution and consumption practices, with greater attention to resource use, waste reduction and process innovation.
Through Imprendigreen, Confcommercio aims to promote greater awareness of sustainability issues and help companies identify opportunities, tools and pathways to address the challenges of the ecological transition.
The Imprendigreen recognition relates to the assessment of a company’s organisational practices and does not constitute an environmental certification of its products.
Why is it important?
Sustainability is now a strategic area for business development and for companies’ ability to respond to changes in the market, regulations and customer expectations.
The transition towards more responsible models requires a progressive and measurable commitment involving different aspects of business activity: environmental, economic, organisational and social.
